Pam has worked as a Clinical Psychologist for over 20 years. She has worked in a range of settings (community health, hospital, and community) in Sydney NSW for over 10 years, and in private practice in Liverpool NSW. Then it was time for a tree change, and with a young family, Pam moved to Queensland. She has been working for over 10 years in private practice in South Brisbane. Pam also spends time doing education and training about mental health and wellbeing in workplaces and in the community.

Pam has a special interest in depression and anxiety, and in supporting people adjusting to life challenges and improving their self-esteem, so that they can feel safe and confident in life. She is offering support to people of 16 years and older.
Pam can provide Assessment and Treatment for a range of different mental health and wellbeing difficulties:

Pam does not accept referrals with primary concern relating to Eating Disorders, Addictions and Substance Use Disorders, sexual assault or related trauma, forensic or offending concerns, or Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities. Pam is also not accepting referrals for NDIS plans or work cover claims.
Pam provides compassionate and individually tailored support using evidence based interventions: utilizing CBT – Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, ACT – Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, DBT – Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Mindfulness approaches.
Appointments available in the office and via telehealth (phone or video). Private fee paying (no referral required but if you would like to claim a Medicare rebate you will need a GP MHTP referral), and bulk billing available for concession card holders with a GP MHTP referral.
Pam believes that your mental health and wellbeing needs to be nurtured and this will require time and actions to look yourself well– and getting a little help sometimes is both important and respected.
